Oklahoma High School Basketball - Eufaula holds off Preston
December 18, 2023: Eufaula, OK 74432 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Eufaula Ironheads (Eufaula, OK) and the visiting Preston Pirates (Preston, OK), saw Eufaula's basketball squad hold off Preston by a tally of 54-51.
With the victory, Eufaula improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Ironheads travel to Kellyville (Kellyville, OK) to confront the Ponies in a Big Eight Star challenge on Friday, January 12. The Ponies come into the challenge with a record of 4-2.
Next up, the Pirates confront the Morris Eagles (Morris, OK) in a Big Eight Star challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Preston will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 63-48 non-league loss to Liberty (Mounds, OK).
