Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Junction City Dragons (Junction City, AR) and the visiting Lafayette County Cougars (Stamps, AR), saw Junction City's basketball squad overcome Lafayette County by a tally of 71-56.

With the victory, Junction City improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Dragons host Star City (Star City, AR) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Star City lost 59-49 in their recent non-league challenge against McGehee (McGehee, AR)

Next up, the Cougars confront the Bradley Bears (Bradley, AR) in a 1A Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Lafayette County will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record.
