The Vanguard Knights basketball team (Ocala, FL), was nudged 50-43 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Dunnellon Tigers (Dunnellon, FL)

The Tigers now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nature Coast Tech for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 27. Dunnellon will confront a Sharks team coming off a 42-27 league win over Hernando (Brooksville, FL). The Sharks record now stands at 5-2.

The Knights (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Springstead (Spring Hill, FL). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 6-3 record.
