In Thursday's league match, the visiting Belleview Rattlers basketball team scored a tight 31-29 triumph over the Vanguard Knights.

In their next game, the Rattlers meet the Dunnellon Tigers (Dunnellon, FL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 12. Belleview will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record.

With the defeat, Vanguard moves to 1-5 on the year. The Knights travel to The Villages Charter (The Villages, FL) to meet the Buffalo in a non-league match on Friday, December 8. The Buffalo enter the match with a record of 4-3. The Villages Charter won 58-39 in their recent non-league match against Bradford (Starke, FL)
