The Vanguard Knights routed the visiting Citrus Hurricanes basketball team by a final score of 44-2 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Knights face the East Ridge Knights (Clermont, FL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 1. Vanguard will attempt to move on its 4-14 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 11-8 record after their 59-27 non-league win over Ridge Community (Davenport, FL).
