December 18, 2023: El Cerrito, CA 94530 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the El Cerrito Gauchos (El Cerrito, CA) and the visiting Tennyson Lancers (Hayward, CA), saw El Cerrito's basketball squad wallop Tennyson by a tally of 66-36.
With the victory, El Cerrito improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Gauchos host Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Pinole Valley lost 58-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Novato (Novato, CA)
Next up, the Lancers confront the Kennedy Eagles (Richmond, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 21. Tennyson will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 81-29 league loss to Albany (Albany, CA).
