Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA) supporters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA), 37-30 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Eastern Montgomery advances its record to 4-3 on the year. The Mustangs host Bath County (Hot Springs, VA) to face the Chargers in a Pioneer match on Thursday, December 19. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 1-4. Bath County lost 82-43 in their recent league match against Narrows (Narrows, VA)

The Blue Devils now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Radford for a non-league match on Friday, December 27. Grayson County will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 41-40 non-league loss to Salem (Salem, VA). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-2.
