In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Trinity Catholic Celtics basketball team scored a close 35-34 triumph over the Lake Weir Hurricanes.

The Celtics (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Wildwood (Wildwood, FL). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Wildwood nipped Yulee (Yulee, FL), 79-70, in a non-league contest.
