Mississippi High School Basketball - West Tallahatchie holds off Palmer

The West Tallahatchie Choctaws basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host Palmer Dragons to 63 in the Choctaws non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Choctaws now have a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Leland for a 1A Region 5 game on Friday, January 3.

With the loss, Palmer falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Dragons host Coahoma County (Clarksdale, MS) to confront the Red Panthers in a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. The Red Panthers go into the game with a record of 12-2.
