The Saluda Tigers (Saluda, SC) basketball edged the visiting Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans (Monetta, SC), 37-34 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host McCormick for a non-league bout on Friday, December 20. Saluda will play a Chiefs team coming off a 53-46 league loss to Calhoun Falls Charter (Calhoun Falls, SC). The Chiefs record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Ridge Spring-Monetta falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Williston-Elko (Williston, SC) to play the Blue Devils in a A Region 3 bout on Thursday, December 26. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 4-3.
