December 18, 2024: Dover, NH 03820 The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints (Dover, NH) and the visiting Somersworth Toppers (Somersworth, NH), observed St. Thomas Aquinas's basketball team overwhelm Somersworth by a score of 68-19.
The Saints (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Conant (Jaffrey, NH). The Orioles come into the Division III challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Conant was routed by Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH), 38-26, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Toppers encounter the Gilford Golden Eagles (Gilford, NH) in a Division III challenge, on Friday, December 20. Somersworth will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 51-20 league win over Belmont (Belmont, NH).
