The Union County Patriots basketball squad (Liberty, IN), was crushed 56-25 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Tri Titans (Straughn, IN)

With the victory, Tri advances its record to 8-2 on the year. The Titans host Cowan (Muncie, IN) to meet the Blackhawks in a non-league battle on Friday, December 20. The Blackhawks enter the battle with a record of 2-9. Cowan lost 34-31 in their recent league battle against Blue River Valley (Mt. Summit, IN)

The Patriots now own a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Winchester Community for a Tri-Eastern battle on Saturday, December 21. Union County will meet a Golden Falcons squad coming off a 59-37 league win over Union City (Union City, IN). The Golden Falcons record now stands at 5-5.
