December 18, 2025: Bardstown, KY 40004 In Thursday's non-league test, the Nelson County Cardinals (Bardstown, KY) basketball squad trounced the visiting Doss Dragons (Louisville, KY), by a score of 74-48.
The Cardinals now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Garrard County for a non-league bout on Monday, December 22. Nelson County will play a Golden Lions team coming off a 66-38 non-league win over Estill County (Irvine, KY). The Golden Lions record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Doss falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Louisville Collegiate (Louisville, KY) to play the Amazons & Titans in a non-league bout on Friday, December 19. The Amazons & Titans go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Louisville Collegiate lost 99-25 in their recent league challenge against St. Xavier (Louisville, KY)
