Maryland High School Basketball - Westminster tops Glenelg
December 19, 2022: Westminster, MD 21157 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Westminster Owls (Westminster, MD) and the visiting Glenelg Gladiators (Glenelg, MD), saw Westminster's basketball squad knock off Glenelg by a count of 52-35.
With the victory, Westminster upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 21. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Mt. Hebron lost 45-42 in their recent league test against River Hill (Clarksville, MD)
The Gladiators now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Liberty for a non-league test on Friday, December 23. Glenelg will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 59-35 league win over Francis Scott Key (Union Bridge, MD). The Lions record now stands at 4-2.
