In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Oakland Mills Scorpions basketball team scored a good 65-47 triumph over the Westminster Owls.

In their next game, the Scorpions meet the River Hill Hawks (Clarksville, MD) in a Howard County match, on Wednesday, January 4. Oakland Mills will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record.
