The Reed-Custer Comets topped the visiting Wilmington Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 41-31 in Monday's league game.

In their next game, the Comets face the IC Catholic Prep Knights (Elmhurst, IL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 27. Reed-Custer will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 6-6 record after their 65-35 non-league loss to Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL).

The Wildcats (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Peotone (Peotone, IL). The Blue Devils come into the Illinois Central 8 battle with a 11-0 record.
