Alabama High School Basketball - Anniston holds off Alexandria
December 19, 2023: Alexandria, AL 36250 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Anniston Bulldogs (Anniston, AL) and the host Alexandria Valley Cubs (Alexandria, AL), saw Anniston's basketball squad hold off Alexandria by a tally of 44-39.
With the victory, Anniston improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AL) to confront the Golden Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Jacksonville won 48-33 in their recent league challenge against Cleburne County (Heflin, AL)
Next up, the Valley Cubs confront the Moody Blue Devils (Moody, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 21. Alexandria will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 67-44 non-league loss to Guntersville (Guntersville, AL).
