The Flinthills Mustangs basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Bluestem Lions to 40 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Classical for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Flinthills will battle a Saints team coming off a 40-34 non-league win over Berean Academy (Elbing, KS). The Saints record now stands at 7-0.

The Lions (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against West Elk (Howard, KS). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, West Elk was defeated by Fredonia (Fredonia, KS), 65-48, in a non-league contest.
