Michigan High School Basketball - Central Montcalm holds off Tri County Area
December 19, 2023: Howard City, MI 49329 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Central Montcalm Hornets (Stanton, MI) and the host Tri County Area Vikings (Howard City, MI), saw Central Montcalm's basketball squad hold off Tri County Area by a tally of 51-48.
With the victory, Central Montcalm improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI) to confront the Aggies in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Aggies come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Beal City won 74-68 in their recent non-league challenge against Ithaca (Ithaca, MI)
Next up, the Vikings confront the Fremont Packers (Fremont, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Tri County Area will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record.
