Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Tri County Area Vikings (Howard City, MI) and the visiting Lakeview Wildcats (Lakeview, MI), saw Tri County Area's basketball squad overcome Lakeview by a tally of 59-48.

With the victory, Tri County Area improves its record to 3-9 on the campaign. The Vikings host Zion Christian (Byron Center, MI) to confront the Mountaineers in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 29. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Zion Christian lost 60-43 in their recent league challenge against Grand River Prep (Kentwood, MI)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Holton Red Devils (Holton, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Lakeview will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 60-39 non-league win over Crossroads Charter Academy (Big Rapids, MI).
