Georgia High School Basketball - Lumpkin County loses to Cherokee Bluff
December 19, 2023: Flowery Branch, GA 30542 Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA), 70-55 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Cherokee Bluff upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Bears travel to Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Fannin County lost 60-39 in their recent non-league bout against Pickens (Jasper, GA)
Next up, the Indians clash with the Maranatha Christian Academy (Oakwood, GA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Lumpkin County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 65-54 non-league loss to Friendship Christian (Suwanee, GA).
