Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the East (Youngstown, OH) and the visiting Howland Tigers (Warren, OH), saw East's basketball squad hold off Howland by a tally of 55-51.

With the victory, East improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The travel to John Adams (Cleveland, OH) to confront the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Newton Falls Tigers (Newton Falls, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 22. Howland will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 58-48 league loss to LaBrae (Leavittsburg, OH).
