The Ellendale Cardinals basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Warbirds to 35 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lisbon for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Ellendale will meet a Broncos team coming off a 69-62 league loss to Wahpeton (Wahpeton, ND). The Broncos record now stands at 3-1.

The Warbirds (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sargent County (Milnor, ND). The Bulldogs enter the B District 1 contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Sargent County ran past Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter (Napoleon, ND), 69-51, in a non-league contest.
