December 19, 2023: Minonk, IL 61760 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL) and the visiting Woodland Warriors (Streator, IL), saw Fieldcrest's basketball squad overcome Woodland by a tally of 75-56.
With the victory, Fieldcrest improves its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Knights host Midland (Varna, IL) to play the Timberwolves in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 22. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Midland lost 65-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL)
Next up, the Warriors play the Indian Creek Timberwolves (Shabbona, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 26. Woodland will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 54-39 non-league loss to Elgin Academy (Elgin, IL).
