In Monday's league outing, the Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL) basketball squad edged the visiting Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL), by a count of 54-49.

The Knights (28-1) will now prepare for their outing against LeRoy (LeRoy, IL). The Panthers go into the Heart of Illinois outing with a 10-15 record. In their last outing, LeRoy was tipped by Flanagan-Cornell (Flanagan, IL), 60-52, in a league outing.
