Illinois High School Basketball - Fieldcrest crushes Eureka

December 15, 2023: Eureka, IL 61530

Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Eureka Hornets (Eureka, IL), 52-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Fieldcrest upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Knights host Woodland (Streator, IL) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Woodland won 62-48 in their recent league bout against St. Bede (Peru, IL)

Next up, the Hornets play the Williamsville Bullets (Williamsville, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Eureka will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Bullets go into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 59-26 non-league win over Tri-City (Buffalo, IL).
