January 19, 2024: Downs, IL 61736 The Fieldcrest Knights basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Tri-Valley Vikings to 45 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to El Paso-Gridley for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Fieldcrest will meet a Titans team coming off a 59-54 non-league win over Lexington (Lexington, IL). The Titans record now stands at 18-2.
The Vikings (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lexington (Lexington, IL). The Minutemen enter the non-league contest with a 17-5 record. In their last contest, Lexington was outscored by El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL), 59-54, in a non-league contest.
