December 19, 2023: Council Bluffs, IA 51501 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Griswold Tigers (Griswold, IA) and the host Heartland Christian (Council Bluffs, IA), saw Griswold's basketball squad wallop Heartland Christian by a count of 74-49.
With the victory, Griswold upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Tigers host Fremont-Mills (Tabor, IA) to play the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Fremont-Mills won 71-17 in their recent non-league challenge against Hamburg (Hamburg, IA)
Next up, the play the Omaha Christian Academy Eagles (Omaha, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Heartland Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 83-45 non-league loss to Walthill (Walthill, NE).
