Henderson Lions (Henderson, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting West Rusk Raiders (New London, TX), 46-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Henderson upgrades its record to 2-15 on the season. The Lions travel to All Saints Episcopal (Tyler, TX) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 6-9. All Saints Episcopal won 48-22 in their recent non-league bout against Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy (Greenville, TX)

Next up, the Raiders play the Arp Tigers (Arp, TX) in a 3A Region II District 16 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. West Rusk will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
