February 2, 2024: New London, TX 75682 In Friday's league outing, the Tatum Eagles (Tatum, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host West Rusk Raiders (New London, TX), by a count of 76-32.
The Eagles (20-7) will now prepare for their outing against Arp (Arp, TX). The Tigers go into the 3A Region II District 16 outing with a 17-8 record. In their last outing, Arp was crushed by Jefferson (Jefferson, TX), 69-39, in a league outing.
The Raiders now hold a 4-16 record. They play next when they travel to Troup for a 3A Region II District 16 outing on Tuesday, February 6. West Rusk will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 53-51 league win over Waskom (Waskom, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 23-6.
