Texas High School Basketball - Hico fells Ranger
December 19, 2023: Hico, TX 76457 Hico Tigers (Hico, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Ranger Bulldogs (Ranger, TX), 25-17 in a league bout.
With the win, Hico upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Tigers travel to De Leon (De Leon, TX) to play the Bearcats in a 2A Region II District 11 bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 5-9. De Leon lost 52-46 in their recent league bout against Santo (Santo, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Victory Baptist Academy Patriots (Weatherford, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Ranger will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 56-25 non-league loss to Community Christian (Mineral Wells, TX).
