December 19, 2023: Orange, VA 22960 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA) and the host Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA), saw Jefferson Forest's basketball squad wallop Orange County by a tally of 59-34.
With the victory, Jefferson Forest improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Rustburg (Rustburg, VA) to confront the Red Devils in a Seminole challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Rustburg won 64-38 in their recent league challenge against Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA)
Next up, the Fighting Hornets confront the Martinsville Bulldogs (Martinsville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. Orange County will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record.
