Illinois High School Basketball - Stevenson nips Lockport
December 19, 2023: Lincolnshire, IL 60069 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) and the visiting Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL), saw Stevenson's basketball squad hold off Lockport by a count of 54-49.
With the victory, Stevenson upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Huntley (Huntley, IL) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 8-3. Huntley won 44-41 in their recent league challenge against Central (Burlington, IL)
Next up, the Porters play the Bolingbrook Raiders (Bolingbrook, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban - Blue challenge, on Friday, January 5. Lockport will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.
