The Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Lovejoy Leopards (Lucas, TX), 46-37 in Tuesday's league test.

The Bearcats (16-1) will now prepare for their test against Midlothian (Midlothian, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Midlothian notched a victory over Lincoln (Dallas, TX), 66-52, in a non-league test.

The Leopards now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Denison for a 5A Region II District 13 test on Tuesday, January 2.
