December 19, 2023: New Hope, PA 18938 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Upper Moreland Bears (Willow Grove, PA) and the host New Hope-Solebury Lions (New Hope, PA), saw Upper Moreland's basketball squad wallop New Hope-Solebury by a tally of 63-25.
With the victory, Upper Moreland improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Bears host Abington (Abington, PA) to confront the Galloping Ghosts in a Suburban One - American challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Galloping Ghosts come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Abington won 57-36 in their recent league challenge against Quakertown (Quakertown, PA)
Next up, the Lions confront the Hatboro-Horsham Hatters (Horsham, PA) in a Suburban One - American challenge, on Friday, December 22. New Hope-Solebury will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Hatters come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 74-37 non-league loss to La Salle College (Wyndmoor, PA).
