Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Southwood Knights (Wabash, IN) and the host Southern Wells Raiders (Poneto, IN), saw Southwood's basketball squad knock off Southern Wells by a count of 57-40.

With the victory, Southwood upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Manchester (North Manchester, IN) to confront the Squires in a non-league battle on Friday, December 29. The Squires come into the battle with a record of 6-1.

The Raiders (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Elwood (Elwood, IN). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Elwood was toppled by Eastbrook (Marion, IN), 50-49, in a league battle.
