New Mexico High School Basketball - Grants fells Aztec
December 19, 2023: Grants, NM 87020 Grants Pirates (Grants, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM), 40-29 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Grants upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Pirates host Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 3-2.
Next up, the Tigers play the Bayfield Wolverines (Bayfield, CO) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Aztec will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
