Virginia High School Basketball - Battlefield overwhelms Osbourn
December 19, 2023: Manassas, VA 20110 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Battlefield Bobcats (Haymarket, VA) and the host Osbourn Eagles (Manassas, VA), saw Battlefield's basketball squad wallop Osbourn by a tally of 60-24.
With the victory, Battlefield improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Centreville (Clifton, VA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 20. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Centreville lost 40-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Osbourn Park Yellowjackets (Manassas, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Osbourn will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 42-40 non-league loss to Unity Reed (Manassas, VA).
