Washington High School Basketball - Kent-Meridian overwhelms Jefferson
December 19, 2023: Auburn, WA 98001 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Kent-Meridian Royals (Kent, WA) and the host Jefferson Raiders (Auburn, WA), saw Kent-Meridian's basketball squad wallop Jefferson by a tally of 72-42.
With the victory, Kent-Meridian improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Sumner (Sumner, WA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 20. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 6-0.
Next up, the Raiders confront the Hazen Highlanders (Renton, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 21. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 56-52 non-league loss to Lake Washington (Kirkland, WA).
