California High School Basketball - Valley Christian holds off Making Waves Academy
December 19, 2023: Dublin, CA 94568 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Valley Christian Vikings (Dublin, CA) and the visiting Making Waves Academy Marlins (Richmond, CA), saw Valley Christian's basketball squad hold off Making Waves Academy by a tally of 41-40.
With the victory, Valley Christian improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Head-Royce (Oakland, CA) to confront the Jayhawks in a challenge on Friday, January 5. The Jayhawks come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Head-Royce lost 53-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA)
Next up, the Marlins confront the California School for the Deaf Eagles (Fremont, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Making Waves Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
