California High School Soccer - River Valley knocks off Placer
December 19, 2023: Yuba City, CA 95993 River Valley Falcons (Yuba City, CA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Falcons face the Yuba City Honkers (Yuba City, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, December 21. River Valley will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Honkers enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 0-0 league Antelope (Antelope, CA).
The Hillmen now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Ponderosa for a challenge on Thursday, January 4. Placer will face a Bruins team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 2-2.
