Texas High School Basketball - Village Tech overwhelms A Plus Academy

The Village Tech Viper Squid basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting A Plus Academy Knights to 16 in the Viper Squid league triumph on Thursday.

The Viper Squid now possess a 12-2 record. They play next when they travel to Belton for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Village Tech will confront a Tigers team coming off a 54-51 non-league loss to Copperas Cove (Copperas Cove, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 14-4.

With the loss, A Plus Academy falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Knights host Trinity Leadership (Cedar Hill, TX) to confront the Tigers in a 3A Region II District 9 game on Friday, January 3. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 8-13.
