The Carlson Marauders (Gibraltar, MI) basketball edged the visiting Riverview Pirates (Riverview, MI), 54-51 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Marauders now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Monroe for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Carlson will play a Trojans team coming off a 68-50 non-league loss to Summerfield (Petersburg, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Riverview falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Pirates host Anderson (Southgate, MI) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 2-6.
