California High School Basketball - Portola crushes Modoc

December 19, 2024: Alturas, CA 96101

The Portola Tigers (Portola, CA) basketball crushed the host Modoc Braves (Alturas, CA), 74-49 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Tulelake for a non-league bout on Friday, December 20. Portola will play a Honkers team coming off a 81-42 non-league loss to Bonanza (Bonanza, OR). The Honkers record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Modoc falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Braves host Fall River (McArthur, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 20. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-2.
