Washington High School Basketball - Peninsula succumbs to River Ridge

In Thursday's league test, the River Ridge Hawks (Lacey, WA) basketball squad defeated the visiting Peninsula Seahawks (Gig Harbor, WA), by a final score of 61-46.

Next, the Hawks clash with the Spanaway Lake Sentinels (Spanaway, WA) in a non-league test, on Monday, December 23. River Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Sentinels come into the test with a 4-3 record after their 70-35 league loss to Emerald Ridge (South Hill, WA).

The Seahawks (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Bainbridge (Bainbridge Island, WA). The Spartans come into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Bainbridge overcame Bremerton (Bremerton, WA), 63-61, in a league test.
