December 19, 2024: George, IA 51237 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the George-Little Rock Mustangs (George, IA) and the visiting Sheldon Orabs (Sheldon, IA), observed George-Little Rock's basketball team overcome Sheldon by a margin of 47-27.
The Mustangs (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA). The Jays come into the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Gehlen Catholic dropped by Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (Hartley, IA), 65-49, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Orabs battle the Okoboji Pioneers (Milford, IA) in a Siouxland challenge, on Friday, December 20. Sheldon will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 65-44 league win over Boyden-Hull (Hull, IA).
