December 19, 2024: Riverview, MI 48192 Grosse Ile Red Devils (Grosse Ile, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Richard Pioneers (Riverview, MI), 46-33 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Grosse Ile upgrades its record to 2-4 on the year. The Red Devils host Carlson (Gibraltar, MI) to face the Marauders in a non-league match on Monday, January 6. The Marauders enter the match with a record of 3-2.
The Pioneers now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Everest Collegiate for a Catholic C-D D match on Tuesday, January 7. Richard will face a squad coming off a 57-24 league win over Shrine Catholic (Royal Oak, MI). The record now stands at 5-0.
