January 17, 2025: Riverview, MI 48192 The Richard Pioneers basketball squad (Riverview, MI), was crushed 55-26 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Carlson Marauders (Gibraltar, MI)
With the victory, Carlson advances its record to 11-2 on the year. The Marauders host Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI) to meet the Bears in a Downriver battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Bears enter the battle with a record of 6-4. Roosevelt lost 40-18 in their recent non-league outing against Airport (Carleton, MI)
The Pioneers (2-10) will now prepare for their outing against Cranbrook Kingswood (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Cranes come into the Catholic Intersectional I outing with a 2-6 record. In their last outing, Cranbrook Kingswood was overwhelmed by University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI), 52-29, in a league outing.
