The Highland Bulldogs basketball squad (Highland, IL), was nudged 31-30 in Thursday's league battle with the host Triad Knights (Troy, IL)

With the victory, Triad advances its record to 10-2 on the year. The Knights host Mascoutah (Mascoutah, IL) to meet the Indians in a Mississippi Valley battle on Monday, December 23. The Indians enter the battle with a record of 2-11. Mascoutah lost 48-20 in their recent non-league battle against Centralia (Centralia, IL)

The Bulldogs now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Civic Memorial for a Mississippi Valley battle on Monday, December 23. Highland will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 50-43 league win over Waterloo (Waterloo, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 11-0.
