The Meridian Mustangs basketball squad (Falls Church, VA), was outscored 48-40 in Thursday's league battle with the host Millbrook Pioneers (Winchester, VA)

With the victory, Millbrook advances its record to 3-2 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA) to meet the Cougars in a Northwestern battle on Friday, December 20. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 0-5. Kettle Run lost 45-22 in their recent league battle against Skyline (Front Royal, VA)

The Mustangs now own a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Lakes for a non-league battle on Friday, December 20. Meridian will meet a Seahawks squad coming off a 63-21 non-league loss to Langley (McLean, VA). The Seahawks record now stands at 2-4.
